What a glorious Spring

It is little wonder that the kids are looking out the window at all this nice weather. But the end is not here yet. Even with all the special events we have scheduled, there is a lot of instruction and learning to be done. Along with that, we have end-of-year assessments that the students are working on. Busy times. Please take a look at the "up coming events" to stay in tune with the events and field trips that are coming up.

Along those lines, please, please, please, if you are going along on a field trip, you must have a volunteer application on file with the district along with a background check. These applications take a minimum of 24hrs to process. SO... if you are going along, and we highly appreciate you going, please go online and fill out the form at least 2 days before the field trip. Here is the link:

Then go to job #1683

I know it takes a bit of time to complete this form, (almost like actually applying for a job) but I also know you appreciate the time spent making sure all adults that are approved to be with our children have completed the process.

There is a lot going on around school these days so please check out this entire newsletter.

Thank you.

  • Cooking from their gardens and freezers
  • Anything that will show healthy eating habits of our Alaska Grown kids

Send your pictures to school this spring or in the fall and be on the lookout for our new Alaska Grown bulletin board in the cafeteria
