Brazil
One traditions to a huge nativity scene in your house and and hold a big feast on Christmas. The people in northern Brazil prefer a folks tail of "The Shepherds". Papa Noel is the gift bringer in Brazil. According to the legend he lives in GreenLand.
Christmas in Japan
The idea of exchanging gifts mostly happens in Japan. For several weeks before the day shops shout christmas. There are decorations of presents for all ages and genders. The story of baby jesus fascinates the little girls of Japan for they anything to do with babies.
Christmas in Africa
The Christmas celebration in The Congo starts off with a small group designing a Christmas Pageant. Also in among The Congo's celebrations is that gift offering were people attend a service and place their gift on the altar. No one comes to the service without a gift.
Christmas in Italy
The Christmas season starts three weeks before christmas. In some parts shepherds come to the towns and villages and play and sing christmas carols. In the week before christmas children go from house to house in shepherds costumes singing christmas carols. They get money to buy presents.
Christmas in England
The English love Christmas music. The English gift giver is called Father Christmas who leaves presents in stockings on Christmas eve. The Children leave an empty stocking or pillowcase hanging at the end of the bed. In the morning they hope it will be full of presents. In England the day after Christmas is called boxing day because boys go out and collect money in clay boxes.
