Doyle Book Fair - Volunteers Needed!
The PTA is proud to present the Doyle Book Fair, which is scheduled for the week of November 14-18 (during Parent Conference week)!
But we need your help - we are looking for volunteers to help us put on this event. Please consider helping us with one of our students' favorite events of the school year! We are still in need of Book Fair Volunteers for the following times:
· After school family shopping time on Monday, November 14th
· 10-11:45am on Wednesday, November 16th
· 8-10am on Friday, November 18th
If we do not have enough volunteers by the day the book fair begins, we may need to adjust the book fair hours accordingly – this includes family shopping time. Please consider volunteering, and please send along this information to anyone that might be interested in volunteering. The signup and information on filling out a volunteer application with the school can be found here: https://www.smore.com/0zvpr
Doyle P.A.L.S. Program
These are 1.5 hour shifts for parents to be game leaders at recess. Shifts can be once a month or once a week. Play your favorite recess game or bring a game of your own!
If you are interested, contact Michelle Radley at firstname.lastname@example.org
Doyle Running Club
The PTA is working with the Doyle to start a running club before school! To make this a reality, we need volunteers.
Volunteers would mostly be supervising the runners as they run laps before school. This would be the perfect fit for someone who is already at school for drop off in the morning!
California Reads, the annual PTA reading event, starts November 7 and runs through January 28. All students are encouraged to participate. The program will be administered via Google classroom, and students can earn prizes as they complete new levels. Fliers will be sent home next week with information on how to sign up.
FEDERAL IMPACT AID SURVEY FOR FY 2022/2023
Your assistance in completing the annual survey means the district earns a significant amount of income which can be used for any general fund purpose such as instructional materials, salaries, transportation, technology or capital needs.
Priority Choice Enrollment Closes November 15th
School Choice online priority application for grades UTK-5th for the 2023-24 school year closes November 15, 2022.
Applications submitted after November 15, 2022 will be added to the end of the randomized list in time/date order of submission after the lottery of on-time applications are processed.
