Great Moments in Hot Bev History
This one is a stretch, but I just learned it and made me chuckle.
Apparently the 2001 romcom, Serendipity, takes its name in part due to the famous NYC dessert parlor. None of you have seen this film, and truthfully I haven't either. But according to the wikipedia entry, the movie does at least in part take place there. Now, you may be asking WHY this is a great moment in Hot Bev history...well the most famous dessert at this famous dessert place is Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. A dessert so delicious, former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was once rebuffed after attempting to purchase the recipe! Must be some (frozen) hot chocolate)! I told you it was a stretch.
Anyways, tomorrow - HOT BEVS - 9 AM - BRING YOUR OWN MUG!
