IE Venture Network

EVERY THURSDAY SINCE 2011. Pioneering Entrepreneurship.

Venture Network Area 31, February 6th @7pm

Venture Network, an informal weekly pitch slam, is an invaluable resource for early stage entrepreneurs. Venture Network is a forum in which you can engage with the entrepreneurial community, promote your startup, and have the opportunity to pitch before a panel of investors & entrepreneurs. Venture Network is unique in that it is a very informal gathering where startups can meet investors in a casual setting over beers and snacks and focus on what’s important: building relationships. Venture Network is a great way to perfect your pitch, get feedback on your product, and meet the local startup community.

Venture Network's jury this week includes:

Jorge Montes del Pino, Montes y Asociados Consulting

Paris de l’Etraz, Managing Director Venture Lab

The two startups that will present their project in 7 minutes are:, Nicolo’ Carpaneda

MenuFinder, Alek Kilajian

MenuFinder is a platform to display all the ‘menu del dias’ that are being offered around you based on your geolocation. Within the platforms we will be using (WhatsApp Business, Smartphone Application, and a Webapp) you will be able to set some filters such as certain dishes you’d like to see that are being offered as well as things outside of the menu that are being offered like wifi or outdoor seating. Of course, you can also set the price and distance from you that best suits your needs. Once we have gathered enough data we will also start learning the customers trends (where they eat on certain days, what types of foods they like, or don't like) and we will be giving daily recommendations based on the specific users.

If you have a startup and would like to pitch, please contact Allison Rohe:
