Alta Mesa Families,


It is Red Ribbon Week at Alta Mesa!! This is a fun week prior to Halloween. The overarching theme of this week is the message of keeping our kids away from drugs. We will be doing a lot of fun activities this week to show that a life without drugs is better. First, we have dress-up days that can be found on the flyer below. we have ribbons that will be given out to students and prize drawings for students who where their ribbons each day, we have a bike safety clinic hosted by CHP on Friday, and a door decorating contest with a parade on Friday. The week culminates on Friday evening with our Fall Carnival that Parent Club is hosting. The Carnival will run from 6pm-8pm in the gym.


I want to remind parents that Monday October 31st (Halloween) is a non-student day Teacher work day. So we will welcome back students on Tuesday, November 1st. Enjoy the three-day weekend.

Riffle Raffle Winners

Riffle Raffle was a big success this year! Thank you to all who helped support our school!


  • 1st place - Mrs. Joscelyn's 4th/5th grade class
  • 2nd place - Mrs. Haag's 1st grade class
  • Our top selling student was in Mrs. Murphy's kindergarten class who sold 116 salmon

Alta Mesa Fall Carnival Is Back

Volunteer To Help In the Fall Carnival

The Booster Club helps put on events and create opportunities for our kids! One of the events that we need volunteers for is our Fall Carnival taking place Friday, October 28th. This should be a fun event for all of our kids and their families.

Parent Club Needs Candy Donations

For our Fall Carnival, our Parent Club is asking for candy donations from parents. The class with the most candy donations will receive a Pizza Party or Ice Cream Party. We ask if possible that donations be nut free for our students with allergies. Donations must be in an unopened bag and we cannot accept homemade candy.
