News You Can Use
Try one thing new this month
Looking for something new to try? Here are a few things you might be able to incorporate into your lessons.
Rocket Notebook
Want your kids to use programs such as Schoology, but you really want to see their work? Try Rocket Notebook for free. You print the paper, they do the work and use their cellphone to upload their "work" to their Schoology, Google, Email, and more.
Google Field Trip
Want to have your students make connections to the reading selection. Take them on a virtual field trip to the location. You can use Google Lit Trips or just Google Earth.
Google Hangout
Use Google Hangouts to connect with other classrooms around the world. Find others looking to connect with you in Google Connected Classroom.
Google Mystery Location
Connect with educators around the globe through Google Mystery Locations.
Quia
Browse through science quizzes that are already made. Assign a Quia to your students in Schoology. Have them screenshot their progress as they master material. You can also create your own Quia for your students
CTE
Browse through material already created by other teachers or create your own. You can link Quizlet to your Schoology accounts. Students can be assigned Quizlets to study from or be tested on the material.
