Weekly Update 6.10.2022
Message from Dr. Taylor
Please take a look at the information below regarding expectations for district issued laptops. We hope you all enjoy your break this summer! While you are away, we will be working on some amazing and exciting things for next school year! Thank you for a great year and I hope you all have a fun and relaxing summer!
District Issued Laptops
Hello PAMS Families,
For students currently in grades 6, 7 and 8, students will keep their laptops over the summer so they will have them to begin the school year.
Beginning Monday June 13 any families leaving the district over the summer should drop their devices and chargers off at the middle school; Mon-Thurs between the hours of 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00. Families who are NOT returning to the district should turn the device into the building’s main office before the end of the year. Please have the building secretary contact technology to pick up the device.
Additional information on district supplied devices can be found at https://www.pasd.com/departments/technology/school_technology. Questions regarding district technology should be directed to 484-927-5098
Home and School Update 6.10.2022
It has been an amazing year and we are so thankful to have had the chance to serve this community! Please read this letter from our Board President, Mileva Repasky
We’re so glad you came out for the last Parent’s Night Out on Monday! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to complete the year, thank you and share food, drink and stories with other parents in our community. We look forward to continuing this tradition next year and, hopefully, for years to come!
Thanks for your help with the 8th Grade Dance… It was a big success!
A huge thanks to the PAMS Student Council for funding this year’s DJ, and to everyone who contributed to make this evening so special! Thank you to all those who donated refreshments and treats for the dance and the to the set up and clean-up crews for your immense help and time!
May Basket Raffle Winners have been drawn! A whole team of board members and parents stirred, mixed and pulled these winners during our Parent’s Night Out at Bluebird on Monday, June 6th. A very special thank you to Michelle Gottfried, our Treasurer, for spearheading this incredibly successful campaign and for putting the gorgeous baskets together!
Thanks for Dining Out this year! We appreciate you coming out and supporting us! We earned nearly $500 and you didn’t have to cook OR clean up!
Thanks to all our venues - California Tortilla, Liberty Union, Lock 29, Texas Roadhouse, Margarita’s, Tony’s Restaurant, & Iron Hill - for providing an easy way for us to add some funds to our bank account! Please keep these restaurants in mind over the summer as a way to thank them for giving us an opportunity to earn funds for PAMS Home and School!
If you have a favorite place to eat, let us know so that we can approach them for next year’s fundraisers.
Thank you for coming out to our meetings this year!! We had some really great attendance from our membership. We loved seeing you, whether it be in person or virtually, and thank you for all your questions, comments, concerns and input on all the things we plan and provide throughout the year. Thank you, in particular, for supporting PAMS Home and School in whatever way you did; whether that be with your time or your donations… We couldn’t do what we do without you!
The new board for the 2022-23 school year was inducted during our May Meeting and will transition over the summer:
