4th and Long
Fall has arrived in 5th Grade
Game On ...... please pardon my football analogy!
2nd Quarter: New learning starts. Schedules are full. October often brings on a new tired because it's busy and because our students are stretched. We're officially here!
So that we're all on the same page I want you to know about our encouragement to the students over the past week. We have talked about what it is to dig deep and work during the week, both in class and at home when needed. We then talked about how important it is to relax, have fun with friends, and spend time with family on the weekend. These are the fundamentals of success in 5th grade.
Right now it feels a little like 4th and long for the students. But we're encouraging them to press through and remember that they are part of a team, with many coaches behind them to teach them and to lead them to a win.
Learning is everywhere.
Weekends are a gift!
