Monday morning assembly for 7th Grade Team B
This past week our campus community was shaken by the unfortunate and unprofessional actions of one of our faculty members. On Monday morning I will address the issue with our 7th grade scholars in our traditional program during a brief assembly from 9:30-9:45. During the assembly I will reiterate the public information that has already been shared by the media, I will also inform our scholars of our plan to move forward with rigorous and engaging science instruction for the remainder of this semester. This will include information about short-term staffing adjustments and possible long-term staffing scenarios as well. Lastly, I will provide our scholars with the opportunity to ask questions or express concerns about the matter. Our school counselors will be available to assist any scholar who needs additional support.
Lock Down Simulations to be Conducted This Week
In an effort to ensure the safety of 100% of our scholars and faculty members we will conduct 2 lock down drills this week. One lock down drill will take place before or after lunch and HAC and the second lock down drill will take place during lunch or HAC. Both lock down drills will be unannounced and both will be conducted as live simulations. Please talk with your scholars about the importance of school safety and the seriousness of all of the safety drills and procedures that we have in place to ensure their safety and well-being.
