"Be Committed, Be Consistent, Be Courageous"
Be Impactful and Find Joy
Hello Phoenix Nation,
Last week we shared the importance of sleep. It may seem impossible with the number of to-dos but prioritizing sleep will make us more efficient and effective, that's science. This week we would like to change the narrative for how we spend our time. Take time to determine the MOST impactful thing we can do this week to increase focus on building relationships and increasing rigor and place them at the top of your to-do list. Relationships and rigor drive equity, opportunity, and access within education and beyond. Be strategic about your list of to-dos and make conscientious choices of what things deserve your time and attention. Prioritize the right things for you and for scholars. Find the joy in all that you do! Joy is what makes life beautiful. It’s what gets us through challenges and allows light in to illuminate the shadows. Joy heals our wounds, inspires us to greatness, and fills our souls with goodness. “Your success and happiness live in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties.” – Helen Keller
