High quality education is dependent upon hard work
Christine Jackson, Emery Perkins, and Lillianna Amato used what they have learned in previous years of Elementary STEM to build and code a Lego rover.
All things start with good character
Konor follows the Falcon Four every day. His kindness shines through every day. Way to go Konor!

Teacher Highlight
Rebecca Jones
Rebecca teaches title math in grades K-6. She has been teaching for 16 years and this is year 3 for her in Coudersport. She and her husband both graduated from CASD, and are proud to have three children at the elementary school. They moved back to Coudersport to be closer to family, but Mrs. Jones wishes that we weren't so far from the beach! She likes that the students at Coudersport are inspiring! Their positive energy is infections, and she loves to be a part of their "Aha!" moments. Mrs. Jones also likes the safety and security of the Coudersport community and says for better or worse, it feels like everyone knows everyone, and the community comes together to support one another.
Scott Andrews
Mr. Andrews teaches health and physical education grades 8-12. He has been teaching for 23 years and all 23 have been here in Coudersport. Scott has been a coach here for 22 years and he has coached soccer, softball, and baseball. He also has twin sons, Boone and Brody. Getting to know all of his students so well because we have a small school is what Mr. Andrews likes most about the students at Coudersport. He also likes that in our community there are a lot of people who take a serious interest in what our students are doing and are very supportive, be it sports, music, or any other of a host of extracurricular activities.
Support Staff Highlight
Sheri Matzinger
Sheri has been working in education for 21 years and all of those have been here at Coudersport. She has 3 children (Devin, Jenna, and Derek) and 5 grandchildren (Jaidyn, Landon, Avery, Brynlee, and Colton). She is a full year employee and Sheri prefers when the students are in the building. Watching how the students grow and mature from 7th grade to 12th grade is rewarding. Sheri thinks that living in a rural community is rewarding and wouldn't have wanted to raise her family anywhere else.
Billie Sheehy
Billie has been an educator for 15 years and all 15 have been here in Coudersport. She loves spending time with her grandchildren. Billie also enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, etc and is a Steelers fan! The way the students are kind and willing to help each other out is her favorite thing about our kids. She also thinks it is amazing the way our community comes together when there is a family or individual in need of support.
