Inspire Elementary Weekly Update
September 20, 2019
The Principal's Corner
The adventure for our students has begun at Inspire Elementary as we move closer to the completion of week four with our students. While we have all adjusted to our new school with students continuing to work hard to demonstrate their understanding of routines and core knowledge for early identification. To support this, we have a number of resources ready to send out for our families and students.
Chromebooks are in and will be ready to distribute to students by the end of next week. Parental assurance agreements need to be received for students to be able to take their Chromebooks home. Remember that Chromebooks are tools that can be used positively to enhance the learning of your child but must be monitored by the parents outside of the school day.
Service provider contracts are now available for parents wishing to enroll your students in extended learning services. Remember that we pay the service provider $500/student for lessons or classes beyond the school day. If you need assistance setting up classes for your students or have a special request please contact me at 614-505-5718.
We have some key events coming up that should be fun for you and your students. Our Buckeye BBQ is tomorrow from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm with games, food and Buckeye Football of course! What a great afternoon of fun! Please bring a friend if you would like.
Fire Safety week begins on October 7th.
Finally, we want to thank all of our parents for a great start!
