BUCCANEER BRAVOS
- BRAVO to ALL for successfully launching Spring Semester FACT Clubs and for making dismissal so smooth!
- CONGRATULATIONS to our CEOTY, Mary Ann Layman and our TOTY, Missy Bain! They were celebrated for having "hearts of gold" at a brunch hosted by the ECCC on Thursday.
- KUDOS to Linda Zeiher for efficiently and effectively preparing for our annual audit! Because of Linda's hard work and organization, the auditor was out of the office by 10:30 am!
Cafeteria TEAM Procedures
Please remind students of Cafeteria TEAM Procedures daily.
Talk and eat quietly
Enter, exit, and eat respectfully
Arms, hands, food, and feet to yourself
Make sure to clean up
Also, each of the three monitors is assigned to a specific area of the cafeteria. They are the monitor who is responsible for your class. If you have a question or concern regarding cafe behavior, please see your assigned monitor. In addition, please make sure you are dropping students off and picking them up on time.
TKES
Second semester evaluations have begun. We will observe math for those who teach math and will observe those who don't teach math during whatever it is that they teach.
Please have lesson plans and any sources of data you use to drive instruction easily available.
Looking forward to seeing you in action!

PROGRESS REPORT DISTRIBUTION - TUESDAY, 2/12
Tuesday, 2/5/19, marks the end of the first half of the grading period. You are required to notify parents if their student has a 1 in any academic or behavioral area (K-3) or a C, D, or F in any academic area or a N in a behavior/work study area. This is considered a PROGRESS REPORT.
Parents can be notified via email, via weekly folder, or via other written notification. Parents should be notified NO LATER than Tuesday, 2/12/19.
Sample of this communication may look like:
Dear Parent,
The purpose of this correspondence is to notify you that we are half-way through this marking period. At this time, your student has a (C, D, F, 1, N - whatever it is) in the area of ____________________. We will continue to work and provide differentiated instruction in your child's area of difficulty. (If you want to include a statement that reading nightly or spending 5-10 minutes daily practicing math facts or completing assigned homework would help your child, you may do so).
Sincerely,
The Most Awesome Teacher on the Planet
