- Classroom lessons for Academic and Career Plans (7th) and Career Clusters (6th) will be completed for the second quarter. These lessons are meant to introduce your child to their career development at an early age so they can make sure they are on the right track to a successful future.
- If your child is interested in a high school specialty program but has questions, encourage them to come speak with us! We would be happy to answer any questions and help guide your child to find a program that fits them.
National Get Organized Month
- Does your child have any unexcused absences? SEND THEM WITH A NOTE! Please check your ParentVue in order to view the days that your child was marked as unexcused and provide them a note for those days. You may send a note with your child to school to be turned into the front office or you may email us an excuse at gardnedr@pwcs.edu
- Help your student get on the right track by helping them organize their backpacks, folders and binders. By encouraging effective organization habits, you are setting them up to be well-prepared for their future careers.
- Does your child have any upcoming exams? Help them get ready for it by helping them make their own study guides, flash cards or any other study tool they may find useful. By showing them how to study, you are encouraging healthy habits and effective tools for their future.
National Thank You Month
1. Yourself: Write a letter of gratitude to yourself! By demonstrating some self-love, you can increase your positive feelings towards yourself as well as heighten your self-esteem.
2. Someone you feel goes unnoticed: When you choose to thank someone who you feel is not recognized for their actions, you are showing them you see their worth.
3. Someone you love: Tell someone how much you care about them and thank them for being apart of your life. We always want to express gratitude to those who make our days brighter.
Elementary School Teacher of the Month
"I am humbled to be the Teacher of the Month! I love the relationships I've built with the children here at TNS. My heart skips a beat when I am in the presence of my former students. To hear the on task chatter about the lessons and a deep moan from the students when work time is over is music to my ears. The idea of being a partner in the educational journey of children excites me. As I walk in the footsteps of my former teachers, I pray that I do the same for all the children as they did for me. "
Thank you for all that you do, Mrs. Baynham!
Middle School Teacher of the Month
"I enjoy teaching my students because there is so much to learn. I always am looking to learn something new to share with them...and it can all be related to SCIENCE!!"
Thank you for all that you do, Mrs. Warner!
