HAC Information and the End of the Grading Period
Home Access Center (HAC) is available for you to access your student's school information over the internet. Through HAC, you can view a daily summary of your student's attendance, schedule and classwork.
Report cards will now be available through HAC rather than a paper copy being sent home. An email was sent last week to guardians with their log-in information. Please contact the CMSN Office if you did not receive an email or need your HAC information.

Word of the Week
This week's Word of the Week is...REFLECTIVE
Being reflective is the practice of actively looking at your thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors to understand your impact on yourself and others. By taking the time to reflect, we adopt empathy for others, understand how our actions impact those around bus both positively and negatively. This helps us to become more self-aware and enables us to grow.
Here are a few ways to become more reflective.
- Write your thoughts down in a journal.
- Remain open minded
- Recognize the important people in your life and go tell them!
- Recognize areas of growth and set personal goals.

Supply Fee
There is a one-time $25 fee that includes all necessary school supplies and a class t-shirt. In addition to the supply fee, students are asked to bring a backpack, pencils, paper, and a water bottle.
The K-6th $25 supply fee can be paid with your student's Advisory Teacher by cash or check. Or you can pay online now by scanning the QR Code or by visiting https://cabot.revtrak.net/. Click on elementary schools or middle schools, and then select your child’s school.
*Please Note: There is a service fee for paying online. Also, there is no need to type in a teacher name. Schools will fill in this information once it is finalized. You will just need to type in your student’s first and last name and select your child's shirt size.
Chromebooks
Every CMSN student is assigned a Chromebook. If you are a returning student, you should have taken your Chromebook home with you over the summer. Students will need to bring their assigned Chromebooks to class with them every day. The devices will be used regularly throughout the school week. It is highly encouraged to store your Chromebook in a protective carrying case, although it is not required to purchase one.
New students will receive their Chromebooks the first few days of school. 5th graders will be issued new Chromebooks this year and will need to exchange their old device for a new one. There is a possibility you could be charged for the device if it is not returned.
Car Rider Procedures
Morning Drop Off
Drop off is 1 lane. Merge into one lane as you pass the front of the building. Use the lane closest to the building.
Do not drop off students at the main entrance to the building. Follow the car line around the side of the building.
Pull as far forward as possible when dropping off your student. This allows more students to exit cars and speeds up the drop off line.
Students can be dropped off under the awning and will enter the courtyard through the gate.
Drivers will continue in 1 lane to exit campus. At the exit, there are 2 lanes for entering Lincoln Street.
Afternoon Pick Up
Pick up is 2 lanes.
Present your student’s name card to the caller as you move forward.
Students will listen for their name and go to the number called with their name.
Cars will pull forward to the number called. (#1 is at the end of the awning. #12 is where the awning begins.)
Students will wait until the vehicle comes to a complete stop at their number to load their car.
Drivers will be directed to merge into 1 exit lane. At the exit, there are 2 lanes for entering Lincoln Street.
