NOTE FROM PRINCIPAL GRAHAM
It has been a wonderful two weeks at The Grove. Thank you for all your support with our PTA Fundraiser. We are so appreciative of our parents and community members for all they do for the school.
We are having parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, October 10th from 3-6 and Friday, October 11th from 7:30-11:30. Please make sure you talk to your child's teacher about signing up for a conference time. This is a great opportunity to build a bridge between school and home.
We hope to have some people come join us for our Family/Community Walk on Saturday morning. Please bring your blanket and come and read with us on the front lawn of Oak Grove during our Community Read-a-Thon. The Book Fair will be open that night too. Attendance Matters!
At OGE, every minute counts for your child's success! It is important for all Patriots to arrive on time daily. Instruction starts at 7:40am. We understand that we are coming into flu season and children may need to be out if feeling ill. Upon their immediate return to school, please turn in a doctors excuse or a parent note explaining the absence. It is important that we have this for each absence to be counted as an excused absence. Thank you for your assistance in this important matter.
