Coops
Chickens are very versatile animals and when you are building a coop you must keep in mind 5 things.
*What are your chickens for?(eggs, meat, or pure enjoyment)
*how big are your chickens
*How much space do you have
*Is it easy to clean
*Cost (Budget)
Once these are considered you may choose the perfect coop.

Types of chickens
Chickens come in all shapes and sizes and the main thing to think about is what do you want them for. If you are looking for eggs you need a production breed. If you want meat Cornish are the main choice. Enjoyment? Bantams(miniature chickens) are the way to go.
Enjoyment
Bantams are my personal favorite because they are small, economical, and eat less.
Meat
Cornish chickens are the premier meat foul because of there large size and quick growth.
eggs
White leghorns or production reds are a great choice due to there productivity.
Of course this isn't all the the chickens in the world, so to learn more visit www.MyPetchicken.com and find the chicken for you.
