ENROLLMENT EMAILS WERE SENT! (see below)

ENROLLMENT EMAILS ARE COMING NEXT WEEK!

On February 6, the 23-24 enrollment emails are going out to all MPS Families. This email will provide a link to the PowerSchool Re-enrollment along with a SNAP code (Unique passcode you must have to complete the enrollment information. You will NOT be able to complete the re-enrollment without this SNAP code.)

Only one parent will receive the Notification email. The highest priority parent listed in Contacts that is marked “Has Custody” and has a matching address to the student, will receive the re-enrollment notification email. If this parent doesn’t have an email address, the next “Has Custody” parent with a matching address will receive the notification email.

Parents will receive a different email and SNAP code for each of their students.

There are TWO steps to complete the enrollment process.

Step #1 Complete 23-24 Re-enrollment using their PowerSchool Registration Account. Once your enrollment information has been processed by Central Enrollment, Step #2 will be available.

Step #2 Complete 23-24 Class Registration using their PowerSchool Parent Portal Account **This will only be available to parents and students AFTER their Re-enrollment has been completed. **

NO SCHOOL - FEB 13 & 14

Reminder that there is no school on February 13 & 14 due to Professional Development Days for staff.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS

While we do not want students who are sick and contagious at school, we do ask that you partner with us to be sure your student is at school as consistently as possible. Student success begins with consistent attendance - it is important for secondary students to be in class everyday possible. In the event that your student is unable to be at school, please do the following to ensure the absence is properly accounted for and student assignments are completed:
  • Communicate with us! Let our front office know that your student will be absent. Please call 405.324.2236 as early as possible in the day to let us know your student is going to be absent, the reason, and an approximate date of return. Please include the student's name, your name, and your relationship to the student if you leave a message.
  • If you have one, turn in a copy of the Doctor's Note that explains the absence.
  • Be sure your student checks their Canvas to keep up with assignments/activities they are missing while absent.
  • Encourage your student to communicate with their teacher(s) regarding any questions they may have about missing assignments.
  • Be sure make-up work is completed and turned in in a timely manner.
