Tips for Transitioning Back to School, Part 2
Practice proper hand washing - wash with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
If your child rides a bus, plan for your child to wear a mask on the bus and talk to your child about the importance of following bus rules and staying in their assigned seat.
If your child is enrolled in VLS, talk with them about any questions, feelings, or concerns they have about joining a new class. All feelings are valid! While some things will change, you can remind them of what will stay the same.
Make sure your contact information is up to date with the school. If it isn’t, please contact the main office 651-325-2500.
This document includes this week’s and last week’s tips as well as more detailed suggestions for preparing your child for this transition.
