Online Learning--Open Your Digital Backpack!
Students should also check their school email, Canvas account, or Google Classroom (however teachers have said they are communicating with their students) daily for updates. Every student has a school email account. The email address is the student's username that they use at school (first initial, last name, numbers) followed by @madison.k12.al.us. The password is the same password students use to access computers and other accounts at school.

***Dual Enrollment***
Dual Enrollment at Calhoun--Summer 2020
Calhoun has many courses this summer that are covered by their Workforce Development Scholarships. All classes are online this summer, so students do not need to come to campus to take the classes. Also, since many summer activities have unfortunately been cancelled, this is an excellent opportunity for students to take introductory courses in a technical program that could become a career!
Please see the attached Career/Technical Dual Enrollment brochure that outlines the technical scholarship program.
Please see the flyer above for a great summer opportunity. Students can take CIS 201 this summer and learn the popular programming language Python, a language worth knowing in the cyber world in which we live. The tuition and the textbook for this class are covered by the Workforce Development Scholarship. The Calhoun Workforce Development Scholarship Program can make the summer of 2020 the start of a new career direction.
