Condor ES Weekly Update
Updates from the Week Ending February 10, 2023
Hello parents and families,
We had some great dance nights this past week. It was so enjoyable seeing our students dressed up and having so much fun. A big thanks to the staff who volunteered their time after hours to make the dances happen. It’s safe to safe that they were a huge hit, and I know the students are looking forward to the next one. Awards assemblies will be held on the 21st and 22nd of February. Please see the calendar below for exact dates/times for each grade. If your student is receiving an award, you teacher will reach out to you to let you know. I look forward to seeing you at there. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact the Condor office if you have any questions.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Lincoln day will occur next Friday, February 17th, for MUSD, where all schools will be closed. The California Department of Education holds the Monday or Friday of the week in which February 12th (Lincoln’s actual birthday) occurs as “Lincoln Day,” where institutions remember Abraham Lincoln. One interesting activity to remember President Lincoln is through The Lincoln Log. The Lincoln Log is a daily chronology of the president’s life. You simply put in whatever date you’d like, such as your birthday, to find out what Lincoln was doing in various years. Additionally, the Lincoln Heritage Museum has numerous educational activities and resources to instill SEL practices, such as honesty, empathy, and more.
