Support Our Cafeteria!
We want to continue to have delicious food, many choices, and the wonderful 5 ladies who make sure our children have a healthy breakfast and lunch each day.
You can help by coming to have breakfast or lunch with your child and purchasing your meal in our cafeteria. You can also help by encouraging your child to eat at school.
Our goal is to have an increase in the number of students participating in our meal program during the month of January.
Will you help us meet this goal?

Meet Our PTA: Ashley Hibbard
This year, I am serving as your PTA Volunteer Coordinator. My position is a shared position with Whitney Wilson. This is my 3rd year serving on the PTA executive board, with my previous position being VP of Student Programs for 2 years. As Volunteer Coordinator, Whitney and I work together to organize and coordinate volunteers for our school. This includes volunteers for Front Office Duty, Picture Day, Vision and Hearing Screening, Young Authors Week, Field Day Party, Bridge to Berry and any additional events the PTA hosts throughout the year. Greystone is blessed with many wonderful parents that are eager to be involved! I want to say THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who have helped make this year run smoothly.
I encourage you to get involved with our PTA!
Not only do my kids love that I am contributing to their school, but it has been a great way to get to know our principal and assistant principal, teachers, staff, and parents. We are always open to new ideas and love having fresh faces so please feel free to join us at our meetings or let us know if you’d like to get more involved.
Implementation of Erin's Law
Attention All Parents: To comply with Erin’s Law, HCS school counselors and administrators have created a plan to provide basic child sexual abuse prevention lessons for students. We have prepared a brief video that outlines plans for elementary, middle and high school levels. You will find more detailed information on HCS’s plan to implement Erin’s Law, including the option for your child to opt out of these lessons if you so choose. This information is also available in Spanish. Disclaimer: If you need alternate accommodations in accessing the video content, please contact Marley Stephens at mstephens@hoover.k12.al.us.
