Virtual Learning Day - November 3rd
Tuesday, November 3rd is Election Day across the country. Many local schools, churches, and community centers are polling sites for their communities. Our campus is a polling site and will have several community members visit to cast their votes.
Given this, SBISD has selected Tuesday, November 3rd as a virtual learning day for all students across the system. All students will remain at home on Tuesday and will complete the engaging assignments the teachers have created. We are requiring all students to follow their schedules and join the Zoom links every period. Our teachers will take attendance during the first 5 minutes of the period before releasing the students to complete their independent learning activities.
Please make sure your student logs in on time and completes his/her assignments. Our teachers will be submitting grades for the 1st progress report of this grading cycle on Sunday night. As mentioned previously, our goal is to increase the number of students who pass their courses this grading cycle.
We will resume our regular schedule on Wednesday, November 4th.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the school at 713.251.4100.

Knight Noteworthy Nuggets
Attendance Works states, "When students improve their attendance rates, they improve their academic prospects and chances at graduating."
Please continue to send your child to school every day. Our attendance percentage was 90% a couple of days last week. We are striving for greater than 90% every day this week. Your help is greatly appreciated.
