Student Shout Outs!

Kai Hammerstrom is the Georgia Eagle Scout of the Year!


Jayde Massa and Phoebe Melvin are our school's very first All-Americans in the National Super 32 Women's Wrestling Tournament!


The varsity volleyball team won the region championship and advanced to the state elite eight!


The varsity softball team won the region championship!


Our NJROTC participated in a championship qualifier at Eagles Landing High School and won 1st place Overall! The group also won 1st place in Inspection, Color Guard, Armed Basic, and Unarmed Exhibition. The team won 2nd place overall in Drill and Academic, and 3rd place in Unarmed Basic, Athletic, and Armed Exhibition.


Our Band won 3rd place at their competition on October 22nd!


Luke Frain led our Math Team at the 2022 UGA Math Competition with 208 points and was selected for the UGA Math Competition Hall of Fame!


Our One Act ensemble and tech crew are the region champions for their One Act production of "Sistas." They will next compete at the state level on November 19th!


Way to go, Pack! We are very proud of your accomplishments!

2023/2024 Course Selection

On November 1st, course selection worksheets will be distributed to all students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades for the 2023/2024 school year. Worksheets are due in 5th period on November 4th. Please use the links below to learn more about our course offerings.


Reminders:

DE/WBL Info Session

We will host a dual enrollment and work-based learning information session on January 26th at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Anyone who wants to learn more about these programs is welcome to attend.

Class of 2026 Advising Appointments

Freshmen should schedule an academic advising appointment with Mrs. Hazlett to discuss classes for sophomore year. Click here to schedule an appointment and be sure to invite your parents. Please pick a time during an elective class period, not during English, Math, Science, or Social Studies. Openings will fill quickly but meetings can be scheduled three months in advance.

ROCK Grief Camp

ROCK (Remembering Others Creating Keepsakes) Grief Camp at the Family YMCA Camp Lakeside will be held on February 11th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. This camp is for children ages 6 to 16 who have experienced the loss of a parent or primary caregiver within the last two years. This day camp is free of charge and the deadline to register is January 6th. Please click here for more information.

Scholarship Spotlight

The US Presidential Scholar Program recognizes the nation's most distinguished graduating seniors. Please click here to learn more and apply. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on November 15, 2022.


The Watson-Brown Scholarship application will open sometime this month, although the date has not yet been announced. Applications are due by February 8, 2023. Click here for more details.


The Georgia Scholar Program application opens on November 4th. All applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on February 10, 2023. Click here for more information.

Essay Contests

You can enter an essay contest sponsored by the Patriots of the American Revolution to win a monetary prize! Essays are due by November 18, 2022. Click here to learn more.


The Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness group is hosting an essay contest for juniors and seniors. Essays are due by February 28, 2023. Click here for more information.
