LDE & CDE PRACTICEs
- LDE practices are being held daily after school. Remind your child to attend practices so we can advance to Area.

Major Livestock Show Information
- If you need to buy a lamb or goat for the majors, contact Mr. Kettler.
- Major pigs are being born now and they will cost $350 per pig this year.

- You will need to put in the message which of the groups you want to be in. If you want to be in more than one group you will need to send a separate text for each group.

TRAP SHOOTING TEAM
- Every Shooter needs to stop by Mr. Kettler's room and give him your contact information so he can set up a group text.
- Practice at Greenwood Shooting Club on Sundays at 1:30
- Friendswood FFA Shoot Saturday Oct 10th
- George Ranch FFA Shoot Saturday Oct 17th
GOATS / LAMBS
- Feeding and Showmanship on Wednesday at 6:30
- Make sure you are walking your animal daily to improve your control over the animal.
- Move in and pen decorating will be Sunday Oct. 11th
SWINE
- Feeding Clinic Thursday at 6:30.
- Make sure you are checking the weight book for feeding changes
- Starting this week you will need to spray your pig daily with Champions Choice to improve skin condition.
- Also, weigh your pig as often as possible to keep a close watch on their weight and to train them to the scales.
- Thursday Oct 8th we will decorate and set up pens at the Fairgrounds.
CATTLE
Signs ups for clipping and fitting will be posted soon.
- If you are showing a Commercial Heifer they have to be palpated by a Vet with in 30 days of the show.
- Saturday Oct 3rd we will be at the Fairgrounds setting up cattle pens.
- Cattle Clinic every Tuesday at 6:30
Scramble Projects
Due dates for scramble reports are fast approaching . Please make sure you check your packet for due dates and how to submit them.
HLSR Oct 10th
Poultry
Broilers check in and show on Sunday Oct 11th.
Rabbits
AG Farm
**Only drive and park on the driveway, please stay off the grass and out of the ditches.
1. Clean your pens daily and dispose of the waste in the spreader or dumpster
2. Pick up after yourself and your animals, this means POOP!
3. Put up Hoses, blowers, clippers, supplies when done with them.
4. Put Trash in trashcans and empty them.

4. Feed on a constant schedule
5. Watch your speed
