attention seniors!
Attention Juniors!
We invite you to learn about the Posse Scholarship and Leadership Development Program! https://www.possefoundation.org/
The Posse Program identifies students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes. Posse Scholars travel as a group to one of Atlanta’s partner colleges/universities. Posse Scholars receive full-tuition scholarships, weekly faculty mentoring, and more.
What kinds of students are good candidates for Posse?
- Students who are strong academically/have strong academic potential
- Students who might be “overlooked” by traditional competitive colleges, but are strong candidates
- Students who are active in their schools and/or communities…this can include clubs/sports/work/family obligations/etc.
- Students who are interested in attending an out-of-state college with the support of other Atlanta students
- Students who are openminded, want to learn, and want to be a part of a group
Posse Atlanta partners with the following colleges/universities, all of which are top in the country:
*Bard College * Boston University * Brandeis University * The College of Wooster * The George Washington University * Texas A&M University
It is a huge honor to be chosen as a Posse Scholar! A Posse representative will be meeting with students to provide more information about the program on Thursday, April 20 at 2pm. Please complete this form BY APRIL 18th if you would like to attend the meeting.
