Robot Buddies
Ms. Roberts second grade class has continued to come to Robotics Club Tuesdays and Thursdays after school to help with our robot buddies program. Thanks to Jerry Perkins of Symbee, we now have xylophones and launchers for our 8 Dash robots. The robot buddies have been programming the Dash units to play songs on the xylophones and to launch ping pong balls all over the hallway.
Sumo Wrestling Continues
Members of the Robotics Club working with Mindstorms continue to program their robots for sumo wrestling. The object is to push the opponents' robots out of the ring without going out themselves. The robots and their programs are wonderful to watch.
Amazon Wish List
We are so grateful to Mr. Perkins from Symbee and one of Ms. Roberts parents for buying the robotics club xylophones and launchers for the Dash robots from the Amazon wish list. We could always use more dash robots, their accessories and other robotics brands like cubelets for the APS Robotics Club. Anyone interested in helping or knows someone that would like to sponsor the APS Robotics Club, please follow this link. It is also posted below. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/dl/invite/6H8camb
