Thank you in advance for having your child to school on time both mornings of the STAAR. If at all possible, we ask that you avoid scheduling appointments during the STAAR exams. A hearty breakfast the morning of, and a good night's rest the night before are also highly encouraged! Again, thank you for your help with these requests.

Hero Time 5/22

To encourage our students to continue meeting the school-wide expectations of Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible, we are planning a reward called "Hero Time" for May 22nd. Students who meet expectations leading up to this day will be invited to participate in fun activities such as air hockey, bean bag toss, scooters, etc.

Traffic Safety Reminders

To ensure the safe arrival of your most precious cargo, we have procedures in place to reduce cross-traffic on Drystone, improve traffic flow, and decrease driver frustration so you and your child can have a positive start to your day.


As a reminder, cars are to enter the Burden campus, and only release students in our designated drop-off zones. By following these procedures we can ensure your student arrives safely under the supervision of Burden Staff.

Lunch Balance Reminder

Cafeteria balances can be checked at any time through Skyward Family Access.

Transportation Change Procedure

Effective November 7th-

All Bill Burden transportation changes will be submitted via email to bbestransportationchanges@libertyhill.txed.net

You will access the email by going to the Bill Burden website and clicking on the "transportation" link. You will find directions there to assist you.

This method of email will be the only way transportation changes can be submitted to Bill Burden. Hand written notes and phone calls are no longer accepted effective Monday, November 7th.

***Changes must be submitted prior to 2:00 PM***

Become a Preferred Panther!

In order to better protect everyone at our campus, all visitors are required to show a valid, government-issued I.D. when visiting our campus. In order to expedite your entry into our campus during large crowd events, we recommend that you obtain a Panther Pass. You will be able to:


  • Pre-Register to attend select school events ahead of time
  • Pre-Register OTHER family members who wish to attend, as long as the family members have completed the 1-2-3 steps of obtaining a Panther Pass at our campus
  • Avoid the long visitor lines waiting to be scanned into Raptor and have your own badge waiting for you at the front office for large events



OBTAINING YOUR PREFERRED PANTHER STATUS IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3 !


  1. Bring a valid photo I.D. into our campus
  2. Your information will be entered into our Raptor system
  3. Obtain your Visitor Badge and enjoy your visit with us!



Now you have Panther Pass status in our Raptor System at our campus.

Next time you visit our campus, you will no longer need to bring a photo I.D. with you!
