What We Are Learning This Week
Language Arts: This week, we will be reading Fireflies by Julie Brinklow . We will be learning about homophones, cause and effect and continue our study on nonfiction texts. This week in spelling, we will look at words with suffixes -ness and -less. Our spelling test will be on Friday, May 13th.
Social Studies: We will continue our unit on financial literacy.
Math: We will continue to practice measurement with the customary and metric systems. We will also review graphing. Students should be able to create a survey, record the results with tally marks, create a graph with the data, and draw conclusions from the graphs.
