Nazareth Muslim Student Association (MSA) provides opportunities to gather, worship, and support each other in community.
Nazareth MSA sponsors:
Quran teachings are held on the following Tuesdays from 12:10PM - 1:00PM in GAC 351: 1/4, 1/18, 3/3, 3/24, 4/7 and 4/21. The Quran Teachings will be lead by Dr. Muhammad Shafiq, Executive Director of the Hickey Center for Interfaith Studies. Pizza lunch will be provided. All are welcome!
Jumu'ah Salah takes place every Friday at 12:30PM in the Sulam Center located in the garden level of George Hall, across from Colie's. All Muslim students, staff and faculty are invited to pray Jumu'ah Salah with the Nazareth Muslim Student Association. Guests are welcome to observe the prayer.
Quran Circle with Dinner every Friday at 4:30PM in the Sulam Center. Weekly discussion of Quran and the Hadif followed by a catered halal dinner. Come again or for the first time!
Nazareth MSA also provides a gateway for the college and community to learn more about the Islamic faith through educational and experiential events which are open to the campus community.
The Nazareth MSA hopes to serve not only the needs of Muslim students, but to provide outreach at Nazareth College and help the greater community through collaborative and interactive projects. Nazareth MSA is actively involved in interfaith work on campus and beyond.
