THE RAIN FOREST IS COMING!
Snakes, monkeys, kinkajous, beautiful parrots, macaws, amazons and cockatoos from around the world are all coming to Platteville!
Arrangements have been made for an appearance of Understanding Wildlife's "LIVE ON STAGE, THE RAINFOREST" to appear in our community. This will take place at Platteville Middle School on Thursday, November 2nd.
Understanding Wildlife is a non-profit organization that travels from California to New York City with this incredible rainforest program.
Then at Platteville Middle School at 7:00 p.m., a wildly entertaining program will be put on for your entire family. Students will be able to interact with a few of these magnificent creatures! Flying macaws, talking amazons, and very mischievous monkeys will keep you laughing all night long.
The cost for the evening program is $5 per person. (Children under 3 years old are admitted for free). Plan now to attend. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is an event that will be enjoyed by the entire family. When will you have the chance again to see alligators, monkeys, lemurs. macaws, snakes, kinkajous, cockatoos and amazons?!

Is our school parking lot safe...?
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and other Caregivers,
It has come to my attention that our school parking lot is not as safe as it could and should be before and after school. There are concerns about driving fast and cell phone use. It is imperative that we all work together to keep our children safe by limiting our distractions. If you are bringing your child into the building, please park in one of the two lots. Please don't park along the front of the building where buses come and go. If you are not getting out of your vehicle and want to drop your child off at the front entrance area before the stop sign, you are still welcome to do that. Thanks for your help in keeping our parking lot a safe place.
