Need to Know Information

Parent Teacher Conferences: Parent Teacher Conferences will be held November 1, 2021. We are excited to share the great things your child is accomplishing at school! Our goal is to have 100% participation! Thank you for helping us reach our goal by attending your conference time!

Book Fair This Week: The Fall Book Fair is taking place this week. Parents can attend the fair with their students on Monday during conference hours from 12:00 PM- 7:00 PM. Students will be able to shop the book fair during their library time this week. If you have any questions regarding the book fair, you can message Mrs. Mullins via Dojo or email her at mullinsm@crane.k12.mo.us.

New Website and Crane R-III App: Our new website is live! Check it out www.crane.k12.mo.us. We also have an app just for Crane R-III School District. You can download it by going to the Apple or Google Play store and downloading the "Crane R-III" app. All things Crane can be found on the app.

Character Assembly: The Character Student of the Month Assembly will be this Friday, November 5, 2021 at 7:45 AM in the Junior High Gym. You will be notified if your child has been selected as a Character Student of the Month so you know whether you should attend.

Nacho Average Dodgeball: CSCO is holding their annual Nacho Average Dodgeball event for boys PK-6th grade and their mom-like figures. The event is from 6:00 PM -7:30 PM on Friday, November 5 in the Junior High Gym. Registration forms should be turned in ASAP. Spectators can come for $1.00 each.

Afternoon Snack Milk: Thanks to the donations from two local businesses, parents of kindergarten and first grade students did not have to pay for their child's afternoon snack milk the first quarter of school. Those funds are almost depleted, so we wanted to let you know students will start being charged for afternoon snack milk around the week of November 9. Please let your child's teacher know if you do not want your child to receive snack milk each afternoon. It is $0.35 per milk.

Honor Choir: Honor Choir practice is this Tuesday at 7:20 AM! Honor Choir students need to arrive on time and head directly to the music room!

Holiday Assistance: We often get phone calls asking if we have any families in need during the holiday season. We don't ever want to assume this, but would like to help those who do need it. If your family could benefit from help this Holiday Season, please complete this form. Again, there is no guarantee assitance will be provided, but this will give us a starting point. Names will not be shared with those providing assistance. We will contact you if your family has been selected for assistance.

COVID Testing: Did you know if your child as COVID symptoms you can arrange to have Nurse Tena administer a rapid COVID test for free? We ask that you call the office to arrange a time with Nurse Tena to bring your child in for testing. She will have the results within 15 minutes. Please know we will NOT test your child without your consent!
