Bayville School News

OCTOBER 2019

From the desk of: Mr. Rieder

Thank you for all the support you have shown. We are off to a great start of the 2020-2021 school year! It has been great to see our students both in-person and virtually and many of our families during Back to School Night.

If you haven't already done so, please sign up for a virtual parent-teacher conference on the parent portal. Parent-teacher conferences will take place November 23 and 24.

We are extremely grateful for your support and understanding during the school year. Please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or Mrs. Gallagher via phone or email.

Halloween Parade / Celebrations

This year the Bayville School Halloween parade will be an in school event for students only. Due to the current restrictions we are unable to have visitors. We will film and photograph the parade, and share the footage online for families to view. Students are permitted to wear their costumes to school on Tuesday October 27 for Group 1 students and Friday October 30 for Group 2 and Group 4 students. Group R students can wear their costumes for virtual class on October 30.

Please make sure costumes are safe for students to walk around and easy for them to put on. Weapons are not allowed with costumes, please keep them home. Safety of the children is always our number one concern. We ask that you please refrain from signing your child out early on the day of the parade since it is already an abbreviated day.

PICTURE DAY SCHEDULE

Student Attendance: Absent, Tardy, Early Pickup

Please note: Because the in-person school day is only 4 hours, any student that gets picked up early or dropped off late is not here for the requisite time. Therefore they will be marked absent for the day. Please make every effort to have your child in school on time. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding!
