Social Studies/Science:
•Social Studies was linked to our ELA program as the students learned about hibernation. The students also learned and discussed topics related to Christmas and Hanukkah. This week, we gathered in the cafeteria with Ms. Gaiting’s class and made/ate latkes! The students had a wonderful time!
- They had the chance to make wonderful holiday crafts as well as a beautiful wintery snowmen that are displayed on our outside bulletin board.
•Wacky Wednesday sure was wacky. Thank you for participating and your donations! We also attended a cultural arts show provided by our PTA.
We had so much fun. Thank you, PTA!
SEL: We continue to sit as a class and place ourselves somewhere on the Mood Meter. This month we have been learning about the word, respect. What is respect? What does it look and sound like? How can we show respect? This provided a great link to our bucket fillers!
