RMS Wildcat Weekly
June 2020 Information for our Families
Last Wildcat Weekly of the 2019/2020 School Year!
Greetings Wildcat Families,
We have now concluded this eventful and unique school year, and I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the caring, supportive, and collaborative spirit of our collective RMS community. The grace that everyone has shown each other in this period has been beautiful to experience, and it reflects wonderfully on our Wildcat family. As we move into the summer to rejuvenate and rest, I want to assure you that we are preparing our fall design plan based on a great amount of community and stakeholder feedback. The district will continue to communicate updates, and I encourage you to follow the vistausd.org website as plans are finalized for the 2020-21 year. I am greatly looking forward to seeing our Wildcats in August, and I wish our 8th graders all the best in high school! I know you will make us proud! Go Wildcats!
Stay safe and healthy!
Sincerely,
Heather Golly

YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION DAY! FRIDAY JUNE 12!
GREAT NEWS! Our yearbooks will be delivered next week!
YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION DAY: Friday, June 12
Please come on June 12 between the hours of 8:30-11 and 12-3 to pick up your yearbooks!
Update on Yearbook Purchases and a free “Digital Signing” feature that is available for ALL Roosevelt Students.
Yearbooks are still on sale! You can purchase your yearbook through www.jostens.com for $50 before they sell out, and you can pick them up next week. There are fewer than 20 copies left!
We are also excited to announce that the RMS yearbook signing tradition is alive and it’s fully digital to suit our socially distanced students. Jostens has just launched a new platform, Yearbook Digital Signing Pages, that gives every student in our school the chance to create a virtual signing page section for their yearbook. After setting up an account, they invite friends to leave messages and signatures. This is free for every student whether they purchased a yearbook or not.
Register an account for your student today and help them get started collecting messages. Users must be 13 years of age or older OR parents can set up and administer the site for their students.

We are looking for students to show some extra grit, perseverance, and determination as they work to finish the year strong and successful!
