Local 150 offers four apprenticeship programs: Heavy Equipment Operator, Heavy Equipment Repair Technician, Geothermal/Well Driller, and Construction Material Inspector (Field Inspector). We are currently only accepting applications for Heavy Equipment Repair Technicians. Job Duties:
• Reads paperwork to determine product types and quantities needed; locates and picks products according to order, product date, and delivery order – when applicable • Stacks products on pallets according to product size, shape, strength, and appropriate numbers per layer to ensure stability and product visibility • Wraps product on pallets manually • May replenish product “pick line” from bulk areas by moving products to the front of the warehouse and placing in designated locations; may stack “pick line” according to required heights based on seasonal needs • Labels products or wrapped pallets with appropriate identifying information • Maintains a clean warehouse environment through cleaning duties such as sweeping, removal of debris or products in walkways, and cleaning of products and equipment • Assists other Night Warehouse pickers as needed – may be assigned to be a checker
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old; High School or GED preferred • Must be able to pass pre-hire drug screen, criminal background check and essential functions screening • Must understand and adhere to company policies and procedures • Ability to work with scheduled break times and varying shift times • Must be available as requested for weekends and holidays • Ability to compute basic math without a calculator • Ability to learn and operate the Walking/Rider Pallet Jack safely and with skill • Ability to learn the Vocollect System (wireless headset picking system) • Adequate spatial reasoning ability

DESCRIPTION
- Purpose of Position/Summary: Incumbent works in a correctional facility for adult offenders. She/He is responsible for following post orders, maintaining order, supervising and controlling offenders and their activities. Incumbent works on an assigned shift in a specific unit/ or post under general supervision of a correctional sergeant. Incumbent maintains the security of the unit as well as the safety of staff and offenders while ensuring daily activities and programs proceed on schedule.

Applicants shall meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Age — All applicants shall be at least 18 years of age. Applicants are required to submit reliable proof of age.
- Education — Applicants shall be high school graduates or provide proof of equivalent education attainment, such as successful completion of GED.
- Drug Screening – Applicants must pass a drug screening test at an approved testing site.
