Caroline Vienne has been named the St. Landry Parish 8th grade Student of the Year. Congratulations to Caroline on this prestigious honor! Caroline competed against other 8th graders in the parish for this title and EJHS is extremely proud of her academic excellence as well as her extracurricular involvements.

Career Awareness Day at Krotz Springs Elementary
The purpose of this educational forum was to provide students with hands-on exposure and an opportunity to experience the real world of college and careers. Career Awareness Day was aimed to connect students to speakers and leaders within various industries. The students met with representatives from Spherion, Opelousas General Hospital, Placid, South Louisiana Community College-Opelousas Campus, Med Express, Spherion, Louisiana Department of Wildlife-Enforcement Division, and EVERFI.
