SGG 101: After school on September 26 and October 3 (pick one date)

PGES at a Glance

PGES – Peer Observations Online Training and Reminders

Reminder: All non-tenured Teachers and Other Professionals will receive one peer observation annually. All tenured Teachers and Other Professionals will receive one peer observation in their summative year of their evaluation cycle.

New: All required peer observations must be completed and documented in the CIITS EDS platform by February 15 and before the full observation by the principal. This is a date change.

New: A new online peer observers training is now available on the KDE website. This training replaces Professional Learning for Peer Observers, previously available through PBS Learning Media. All 1st time peer observers must take this online training before they can observe teachers. LSS is NOT offering LIVE training at this time.

September's Focus: Self-Reflections
  • Log on to CIITS and check your self reflections.
  • Make adjustments if necessary.
  • Based on the areas you indicated were lowest, select an area to develop in your PGP.
  • Start thinking of your x to y by when for that area.
