Genetic engineering and Agriculture
Over the years, genetic engineering has become more common in agriculture. Globally there are over 25 countries that grow geneticlly engineered crops approximately 420 millions acres of land, and those numbers are increasing every year. The United States is responsible for producing almost half of the geneticlly engineered crops planted world wide and currently devotes over 40% of U.S crop land to these motifiyed crops.
