Dine to Donate - HSSF Taste of Giving Tuesday
Local restaurants are celebrating the amazing success of GIVING TUESDAY by offering a
district-wide “dine to donate” day on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Bring the attached flyer and visit any of the following participating restaurants anytime on December 8th and a portion of the proceeds will benefit every student, every grade, every school.
Lunch Time Visitors
Parents are invited to eat with their child any time after the first two weeks of school. Advanced notice needs to be given to the school office by 9:30AM on the day you plan to join your child for lunch. Visiting parents should come to the office to check in, receive their visitor’s badge, and instructions on meeting their child for lunch.
Adults will pay for their meal as they go through the line. We ask parents to purchase a school lunch or bring a sack lunch. Due to enrollment, some buildings may not be able to accommodate providing lunch for visitors. Schools will alert parents if this is to occur via the school newsletter. Students are discouraged from leaving school to go out to lunch. They are encouraged to either buy a hot lunch or bring a lunch from home. No food from fast food establishments may be brought into the Lunch Room area by any individual for consumption, per Hamilton Southeastern Schools’ policy. In addition, a background check is required to join a student for lunch.
Spiritwear….
Thank you to those who purchased spiritwear from our recent order. We had a great turnout and we are pleased to say that some amazing spiritwear will be making its way to our Roadrunner homes very soon. The items will be ready for delivery the week of December 14th. If you have any questions about your recent spiritwear order, please contact Kara Cantwell at karashel@yahoo.com.
