How the disease is started and how is it transmitted
Smallpox is started by a virus called Variola. From indirect contact it can spread from one person to another. Like meeting somebody face to face. It is also spread by bodily fluids that are infected. When smallpox attacks the body and gets the blood cells it usually attacks the cells. Then white may try to fight back. And the next thing you know there is a brawl going on in your body. Also this disease can effect humans it can spread by insects or animals.
Symptoms and signs of Smallpox
Some signs of this disease are :
- Chills
- High fevers
- Malaise
- Vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Headaches
- Severe back pains
- Rash
- Bumps
How is this disease treated?
This disease is treated by smallpox vaccine. Allow four days of viral exposure. Then the vaccine will have time to avoid the symptoms.
Then about a week or so after the exposure it will protect the body from the disease.
Ways you can prevent yourself from getting Smallpox
- Clean your hands and prevent touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Pay attention to the news and see how it maybe could be affecting your commuty
- Stay checked in for a possible OUTBREAK!
