All Things GALA

A few details to share and new things offered!

A Night in the Garden...a night of success!

All minds shifted to spring as over 200 Oak Farm faculty, parents and friends gathered at Dupont Downs to enjoy the Tall Oak Gala, A Night in the Garden. Everyone enjoyed visiting and bidding on items to support the operations of the school. Over $60,000 was raised as the evening was filled with many opportunities, large and small, for donors to get on board and celebrate Oak Farm’s 15 years of success.

THANK YOU!! to all who donated, volunteered or participated in the evening.

A special thank you to our volunteer Gala Chairs: Anna Outten and Jillian Chaulk.

Didn't make it to the Gala, but want to be part of the giving community at Oak Farm?

Well, it is not too late! Take a look below to find the giving opportunity (or two) that may be just right for you! All items are available at the Victorian House during regular business hours, please see Macy for questions.

The Acorn Drop

It is so simple to be a part of the Oak Farm giving community as we strive for 100% participation in our annual giving!

How does it work? Just a drop in the bucket!

Send in, stop by or mail in $15! This $15 can multiply in so many ways and it will help us achieve 100% participation (remember: What you give is not as important as that you give!). Just note “Acorn Drop” in the memo.

Individual Student Pictures

Love the look when your child is deep in thought? or their joy as they finish a big work? Oak Farm Parent and photographer, Lynelle Deam captured the images of children as they worked and we have this photo available for you! Please see Macy in the Victorian House. We simply ask that you give the donation amount that is comfortable to you in return for the photo.

Classroom Group Pictures

Each classroom's personality shines through in these group photos. The children had fun posing for these priceless photos that are still on sale from the Gala and will fit perfectly on your child's bedside table! Each picture is 5x7 and available for a donation to the school.

We regret that due to media releases, we are unable to post classroom pictures in the newsletter.

Wanna be a magician? Then help make a wish come true! Help us clear of the Wish Table!

The Wish Table has been an exciting part of the Gala for the past 4 years! This year’s focus was on the outdoor classrooms and play areas. Each classroom has submitted a wish for this project and guests at the Gala had the opportunity to “buy a wish”.

How does it work? Choose an item below that you wish to purchase. You can purchase all of it or purchase stock in 10% increments.

What happens if an item is not purchased “completely”? If all of the “stock” in the item is not secured, the school is committed to using those funds toward the playground project.
