Last week we had our annual visit from the Life education Classroom, with Genevieve (& Harold). Life Education - inspiring tamariki and rangatahi to make positive choices. It was great to see and hear such positive feedback from the sessions. The junior classes were learning about how to manage big emotions, being calm and resilient and Nga Whetū were learning about showing empathy.

Our Matariki Community Celebration & Breakfast is coming up on Thursday 23 June from 7.00 am. We'd love for you to join us for this. We are also on the hunt for some breakfast preparation and serving helpers - ex SCS students might like to pop back and help out. Let us know via the office if you'd like to help out.

We have the triennial elections for school boards coming up in September. We would love you to consider becoming a board member and having an active role in the governance of our wonderful school. Information on the board role is below and we extend an invitation for you to come along to our meetings, the next is Wednesday 22 June, to see how the board operates.

We have been made aware of cases of cell phones coming to school with children. We ask that whanaū please ensure that cell phones are NOT bought to school. Thank you for your support with this.

Focused mind, disciplined body and pure spirit through community participation is our motto. Keeping this in mind, we encourage individual growth through a family feel atmosphere whilst practicing Taekwon-Do techniques.

Fees will be free to any Spring Creek School students and to the Spring Creek community. Classes will be Monday 3:15 - 4:15 pm in the Spring Creek Hall from this term. Families need to arrange for their children to go to the hall after school.
