University of North Texas
BS in Kinesiology and Minor in Medical Biology
Who was your favorite teacher and why?
In Elementary (George W. Truett Elem): Mr. Yauger- He was my 6th grade Math-Algebra teacher. He challenged me to the limits even when I thought I wanted to give up-he didn't let me give up! He believed in me and actually told me : “You will be great one day Miss Northcutt, GREAT!”
In High School (Skyline Magnet High School): Mr. Huggins-He was my AP Biology teacher and he encouraged me to always do my very best-to never cheat myself or go the easy way out. He told me that I could be anything I put my mind to. He told me to not be afraid of failure- “ You can only fail yourself if you never try and learn from your mistakes” -He told me that students like myself “inspired” him to be a great teacher-I believed in him and he believed in me.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
I was a personal trainer for 8 years- My dream was to become a Physical Therapist or a Female Athletic Trainer
I would have loved to have been a doctor!

I love to run and workout
I love to dance
I teach Wednesday's “Girls in Action” class at my church- the class is for girls of all ages. It inspired girls to take action in Missionaries and to learn and share the love of Christ with others. It helps build strong, humble young ladies- to remodels for other girls
Accomplishments or Honors you have achieved that you are proud of?
I am proud to be honored as teacher of the month- thank you Hackberry
