Mid-Year Reports for Colleges/Universities
Attention Seniors, your mid-year transcript will be uploaded to Common Application next week. If there are any colleges/universities outside of the Common Application platform that are requesting your mid-year report, please email your counselor. There is no charge for mid-year transcripts.
Please also make sure you update your SSAR and/or SPARK (UCF only) with your mid-year (semester 1) grades.
TRIO Educational Opportunity
Seniors, do you need help with your college applications, assistance on the FAFSA process, choosing a school or career or scholarship applications? TRIO Educational Opportunity Center will be returning to WBHS on January 12th, February 16th and April 13th from 12:15pm - 1:45pm. Please see your school counselor to sign up. Spots are limited!
BRIGHT FUTURES INSTRUCTIONS
Attention Seniors,
Bright Futures Instructions are located on the Guidance website. Please complete this application by June 30, 2023. It is highly recommended that you complete this application even if you plan on attending an Out-of-state college/university.

In-School SAT for 11th Graders
All 11th graders are scheduled to take the free in-school SAT on March 1st at 7:30am. Registration is not required and there are no make-ups for this exam. Testing locations will be released closer to test day. On test day, students should bring a few #2 pencils, approved College Board calculator, student ID, drink and a snack. Students who receive extended time accommodations will have the option to bring a lunch or lunch will be served to them. It is highly recommended to use the resources below in order to study properly and practice.

SAT NCR for Seniors Needing Concordance

District Honor Choir
Today was the county district honor choir where we had seven students represent West Boca among the best of the best from our district. One of our seniors, Morgan Siegel, was selected for a solo!
The concert is tomorrow evening at Lake Worth high school (I believe the time is 7 PM).
FBLA District Awards Ceremony
Here are some accomplishments for which our FBLA student members were recognized:
- First Place in eight different events.
- Second Place in one event
- Third Place in nine different events
- Fourth Place in nine different events
- Fifth Place in four different events
A total of 40 student members qualified for the FBLA State Competitions taking place in Orlando in March 24-27, 2023. This number increased by 43% from last year and by 110% from two years ago.

Community Ed. Yoga is back starting on Tuesday, January 17th.
Classes are 3:30-4:45 on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. This is a gentle, do-what-you-can class for teachers, staff, and members of the community taught by experienced yoga teacher, Nancy Jo Rademacker.
