Summer School Meal Service
Roosevelt will offer free meals for children beginning June 15, 2020, Monday – Friday. There will be grab-and-go, walk-up, and/or drive-up service. All children, 18 years and under, can pick up both breakfast and lunch at Roosevelt in front of the school on Acacia between 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Attendance and Receiving Credit for Summer School
A reminder that missing one day of summer school is equivalent to missing one week of instruction. Students who miss more than three days of summer school risk NOT getting credit for their classes. Since students will have live communication each day, attendance will be taken based on actual attendance on Zoom (or other video communication).
Need Tech Help or Access to a Computer?
If you need tech support for your devices, Glendale Unified has a special number for families to call and receive help from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The telephone number is 818-478-2664.
If you need a device, you may go to the GUSD Administration center (223 North Jackson Street) to pick one up between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. No appointment is necessary.
