CCPS Plans for Annual Veterans Assembly
A long standing tradition at CCPS is the annual Veterans Assembly. Our students are already spending time preparing for the very important task of honoring those who have served our country! One way veterans are honored is through the beautiful writing of the students.
Red Ribbon Week at EES
Red Ribbon Week activities followed an important theme about a drug-free life for our students. Dress up days included "Too Bright to Do Drugs" and "Our Choices are Key to Our Dreams" among others. There was great participation from the students and faculty!
Halloween Themed Books
These WES students presented their Halloween themed book review to their classmates this week. They read their book, summarized the main theme, provided interesting details, told the genre, and created a pumpkin based in the book that they read. Great work!
CMS Hosts Beginner Band Concert
There was outstanding community support for our Beginner Band Program Tuesday night. A large crowd came to enjoy the performances given by these hard working students.

These lovely ladies showed up this week to be a part of the Kindergarten Princess Court at CCPS. Aren't they impressive?
Working for Peanuts
Charlie Brown (aka, Principal David Wiggins) was seen at EES sharing in the Halloween Day fun with students by reading a scary story or two.
Weird Science!
These WES students brewed up some spooky boo bubbles with dry ice yesterday. Hands-on science is always a favorite!
Clean Sweep
All of the CMS basketball teams brought their skill to their home court last night. They impressed a supportive crowd with their sweep of the Warriors. Go Bearcats!

CHS Swim Finishes on Top
Last week the CHS Swim Team finished in first place in the Bearcat Invitational. Congratulations swimmers!
What's for Lunch?
The CNP staff members for CCS work hard to provide meals for our students. Homemade strawberry shortcake was on the menu this week and it certainly looks delicious!
