From the Middle EMS and ELA
News from the Principal, 4/30/19
Hello Parents and Families,
Thank you for all your support through the month of April. I don't know if you feel this way, but we feel like in a blink of an eye we are making our way into May. Testing is now over and we appreciate all our students' hard work. We look forward to seeing the impact of their hard work when we get the results from CDE in August.
Next week is Teacher and Staff appreciation week and we have a lot of fun planned for celebrating our great EMS and ELA staff. Also, we have an opportunity for you!
On Tuesday, May 7th we will have the DIRT Coffee Truck parked in front of the middle school from 7:30 am -- 10:30 am.
If you are interested in grabbing your morning Joe or Hot Cocoa, please feel free to purchase a cup from the truck. DIRT COFFEE is an amazing company and we are happy to support their cause. Below is information about their company.
Have a great week!

Staff Highlight--Ms. Tama Wood, Counselor for EMS and ELA
I've been working in education for 11 years now and this is my first year at a middle school. I have enjoyed the change so much! I appreciate that middle school allows me to work with students at an earlier, still influential stage in their lives. I hope that in the future I can expand out to more groups allowing me to have regular contact with even more students.
Outside of school I am kept busy by my own two middle school boys and husband. We like to ski when we have an open weekend without their sporting activities. We also travel when we can usually to visit family out of state.
