Maintaining your Mental Wellness

As we ultimately head towards summer, it is important to keep a positive mind-set and focus on your goals for this summer because "this too shall pass" and before we know it, we will be back with our colleagues, friends, family and community members. If you are experiencing anxiety, fear, depression, boredom, anger, irritability or frustration, know that you are NOT alone. Here are some tips outlining how you can help maintain your mental wellness.

* Get outside

* Find a new hobby

* Acknowledge what is happening

* Stay connected

* Do benefit finding (search out things that you can be thankful for.)

* Try breathing exercises

* Maintain a routine

* Be kind

* Tell someone how much they mean to you

* Change your expectations

* Manage news and media intake
